Our Mission
la Sexducation commits to empowering parents to become proactive, positive and
effective primary sexual health educators in their child's life by
providing up-to-date
and accurate information, practical strategies, straight forward and
open discussions, concrete and applicable activities, accessible
resources and tools, realistic exercises, professional insight, and
informative material pertaining to children/teenagers' sexuality.
Our sole purpose is to encourage parents to practice, implement and
integrate sexuality education within their daily routine and within
their child's overall education, from their formative years
and into adulthood.
la Sexducation
believes a parent's proactive approach in girls and boys sex education
is a strong contributing factor, not only in the avoidance of negative
sexual health outcomes (i.e violence, abuse, exploitation, coercion,
STIs) but also in the development and maintenance of healthy outcomes
(i.e strong self-esteem, effective
communication and decision-making skills, positive body image, a
sense of responsibility, critical thinking, safer sexual practices and
behaviours, confidence, self-love, healthy values). Parents exercising
sexuality education will strongly impact
a child/teenager's overall health and well-being.
